GLOBAL FREIGHT & PORT LOGISTICS

Shipping & Export Policy

Standard operating procedures for containerized cargo, port dispatch, freight handling, and customs documentation across international sea routes.

1. Ports of Loading (Origin)

SHREE executes regular containerized dispatches through premier, high-throughput Indian sea ports chosen based on factory proximity and optimal shipping liner transit times:

Mundra Port (INMUN1)

Primary gateway for Western & Northern India ceramic and tile clusters with direct global liner services.

Nhava Sheva / JNPT (INNSA1)

Major hub for plumbing, pipes, and specialized hardware shipments with extensive worldwide coverage.

Chennai Port (INMAA1)

Optimized gateway for South Indian manufacturing zones and direct East Asia / Middle East routes.

2. Trade Terms (Incoterms 2020)

We accommodate flexible trade terms based on the buyer's logistics setup:

  • FOB (Free on Board): We handle factory manufacturing, inland transport to Indian port, customs export clearance, and loading onto the buyer's nominated vessel.
  • CIF (Cost, Insurance & Freight): We manage complete sea freight, marine cargo insurance, and container delivery to your designated destination discharge port.
  • CFR (Cost & Freight): Similar to CIF, covering ocean freight without marine cargo insurance.

3. Packaging, Palletization & Container Stuffing

Export goods undergo export-grade protective packaging to withstand international ocean transit:

  • Ceramic & Porcelain Tiles: Packed in corrugated carton boxes with corner protectors, mounted on fumigated wooden pallets or plastic pallets, shrink-wrapped, and strapped.
  • Pipes & Fittings: Bundle-packed with protective capping, strapped with high-tensile polyester bands, and protected with weather-resistant poly sleeves.
  • Sanitary Ware: 5-ply / 7-ply drop-tested cartons with high-density foam padding and palletized stabilization.
  • Container Lashing: Heavy-duty airbags, lashing belts, and wooden dunnage are applied inside 20ft and 40ft containers to prevent shifting during high seas.

4. Comprehensive Export Documentation

Every consignment is backed by a full set of certified trade documents sent digitally and couriered via international courier (DHL/FedEx):
